Fingers crossed...

Fun milestones on Dawson:
*Yesterday he took a nap WITHOUT wetting his bed!!!
*This morning is the FIRST TIME going poop in the potty!!

Hopefully THIS time will work, I've been training him for 8 straight weeks, and I'm praying that this is the time that will finally stick! Hooray for Dawson! He's so proud of himself. We are trying to get him into preschool and they won't accept him until after he's trained, so that's his biggest motivator right now. It's working.......

Aimee -- hurry up!

My sister just younger than me is flying up here next week and I'm so excited to see her!! Yipee! (She's the one on the right. The other cutie-pie is my youngest sister that doesn't get to come play with us this time) Hopefully all three of us girls will be able to get together and play for a retreat!

**(This is an old picture, she has been home from her mission for a year and a half! This is the most recent picture that I have....yikes. I'd better take some next week when she's here) This weekend better fly!

Remington Steele

Something fun that I thought that I'd share is that this is a fun series! Remington Steele is filmed in the early 80's and has a little drama, a little fun, a little humor and lots of detective work. Ryan enjoys watching the episodes with me because it has Pierce Brosnan before his 'Bond' days. My friend turned me onto it and we are enjoying it! (Thanks, Tiffany!) It doesn't go as fast as most modern shows, and has cheesey one-liners; but it's still fun to jump into their little short stories. I don't remember from my childhood, but a few of my friends do!

Tag! I'm it!

Rules:
1. Once you are tagged, link back to the person who tagged you.
2. Post THE RULES on your blog.
3. Post 7 weird or random facts about yourself on your blog.
4. Tag 7 people and link to them.
5. Comment on their blog to let them know they have been tagged.

Thanks, Jaimee, for tagging me! Here are seven random facts about me:

1) I ADORE Erasure and am dying to go to a concert!! The closest I got was last summer when they came to play in Seattle, (only like 5 hours away!!) but Carter was just a few weeks old and I couldn't go! How much does a round trip ticket to England or Scotland cost during June? I hope hope hope that they come to Seattle again. The ONLY concert I have gone to was Donny Osmond when I was eight years old! Ohhh, I remember him singing "Sacred Emotion."

2) My favorite restaurant in the whole wide world is in Rexburg, Idaho. It's Fong's Chinese food and I love love love it. The reasons why: Ryan and I ate there as newlyweds and it was very inexpensive when I was going to school there. Maybe it's changed since then, but I sure have fond memories of it!

3) I hate flying, especially over water. But I'm sure I'll get over it quickly if I go visit my parents in Shanghai this year...maybe.
4) I love General Conference! The memories that I have growing up about listening/watching the Prophet is so close to my heart. We have traditions that I did as a kid. We play Conference Bingo with tic-tacs and Skittles. We color in our coloring books, purchased just for this weekend. We color with brand new crayons and markers. I can't wait!

5) I sleep talk. If I'm in a conversation and I'm sleepy, I'll fall asleep and keep talking. My sentences don't make sense if you're awake, but they make sense to me! One time during my senior year of high school, I had just finished a math test and put my head on my desk. Not realizing that I was asleep, I shared what I was craving with my classmates. The room was completely silent and I blurted out, "I want ICE CREAM!" and woke myself up. I was giggling and I actually blushed and my teacher told me to NEVER fall asleep in her class again.

6) I enjoy playing games with Ryan and we play a lot of Boggle! I never knew that a bunch of letters initiate such fun for hours. My best word? N-A-T-I-O-N-A-L. Cool eh? He has yet to beat my eight letter word.

7) Speaking of sleep: when I get too tired, I'll fall asleep sitting up. I was on a date when I was in college and we were watching a movie. (can't recall which movie) All I remember is sitting down and starting the movie, and then waking back up just before the credits. I started a conversation as quickly as I could, pretending that I enjoyed the plot and the characters...all he said was, "You snore." and LEFT! No wonder he never called me again. And come to think of it, I don't remember WHO HE WAS!
(P.S. I don't snore.)

Okay, I tag Aimee, Ashley, Mom and Jeni.

a hat, a camera and a cutie

We were bored tonight and put Dawson's hat on Carter's head, he immediately started to giggle and we instantly had a candid photoshoot with two teeth, rosy cheeks and his gorgeous eyelashes!

3-year-old's Sleepover

Our little buddy spent the night last night because his little brother was being born! (Congrats Michelley!) He was so good and my kids just adore him. These were just a few pictures that I captured right before bed. He kept talking all about his new baby "brudder" and could hardly sleep because he was too excited! We made a banner that says congratulations, we colored his new baby pictures and just enjoyed being together. He has such good manners and we just adore him! So glad that our little buddy could come over to play! Ryanna read the boys books and wrestled and we all had a very fun time.

BEEEEG YAWN! Carter was so tired, but he wasn't too worn out to play!
