a couple things

Time is flying faster than ever right now! Updates:

-Ryan is busy busy busy with finals. Lots of hours is spent in preparation for those. His last one is Tuesday and Wednesday morning he flies out to San Fransisco to argue his appellate clinic cases in front of the Ninth Circuit. (I'm sure I'll post on that next week)


-I'm busy in and out of the dentist's office. Trying to squeeze some last-minute fillings and three crowns in before I go. Poor guy. He's seeing me more than any other patron. It's no wonder that I'm on a first-name basis with the entire staff!
Plus, our apartment still hasn't sold, so we still have showings. And we're up to our eyes in boxes, trying to get packed up for our move. We're moving down to BOISE just after Memorial Day!! Sad to leave Moscow, but excited for the next phase of life.


-Ryanna is working hard and is nearing the end of First Grade. She loves riding her bike and when the weather isn't raining, snowing and hailing, she actually gets to ride it. Blasted Moscow weather. Her reading is fabulous and she's currently only got her nose Shel Silverstein books.



-Dawson is just about done with Preschool. It's over on Thursday and he's so sad. He loves playing with his little friends and he's just flourished over the last couple months. He talks to anyone now, isn't so shy, so his teachers aren't concerned for his growth anymore.

-Carter is being such a stinker. He's going to be two next month and he knows he's the baby. The screams and the fits that this kid can throw is just amazing. He thinks he's a big kid, and therefore can do anything they can do. He's not afraid of height and will fling himself from a great distance and land on the floor without so much as a whimper. He is an adrenaline-junkie and loves it. Not afraid of anything yet!

swine flu origin

My cousin sent me this via email and entitled it, "The way to get Swine Flu."I got a kick out of it and wanted to share it. Now, seriously, how can this be sanitary??

I'm so sick of the media and throwing the public into chaos and panic. Amid all of the hype, this made me smile!

(I know there's no way to get Swine Flu from actual pigs, since it's person-to-person)

making up messes

The other day while cleaning and packing up some stuff, Carter got into a cupboard in the bathroom and snuck out with my entire makeup collection! He played in lipstick, got blush all over and was going for the mascara when I found him. Luckily, he really didn't make a huge mess, and was applying some Clinique lipstick when I cleaned it all up. Silly kid.


P.S. Only 13 more days until Ryan graduates!! But who is counting...
