Walking the Line

It's official! My sister is a college graduate! I'm so proud of Aimee, she has worked for years and years to get what she wants and has done it! She moved to Las Vegas earlier this year, not knowing a single person, and started working. What an example she is of faith, strength, dedication and relying on the Lord for what you need most.
Aimee is absolutely amazing and I'm so sorry that I can't make it down to your graduation. You have our love and support from Moscow! I love you and can't wait to see your diploma!

Aaron is 17!

Happy Birthday to my little brother, my example and my favorite boy in the entire world! I love you and I'm so happy that you're making good choices and are such a bright example of love and endurance. When you were little, we didn't know if your health would allow you to live through the night. You are truly a miralce and I just adore you. I love you to pieces, have a happy birthday and the next time you are in America I'll take you to get some ice cream! My treat! You are a wonderful and loving uncle to my children and they look up to you and want to be like you. (Dawson is starting to!)
I'm very sorry that I used to dress you up in girl clothes and put my make-up on you. I am truly sorry for that. I'll burn the pictures soon!

Playing around with pictures

Birthday boy!

Happy Birthday to the precious little Jacob! This is an old picture of him, but since we don't live near him anymore, this is how I remember him! He'll always be this young. Eat lots and lots of cake and ice cream, you tell your mom and dad that I said so. Love you!

Progression of a popsicle

Ryan feeding Carter a popsicle...from Carter's perspective:

"Ohhh! Yummy! What is this delight?"

"Ohhhh, this is good."

"Yipes, slightly cold."

"But I'm still happy!"

"Hey! Bring that thing back here!"

"Ohhh, REALLY cold. Brainfreeze!"

"What is this stick? It's all gone? What am I supposed to do with this?!"

"Oh well, I'll just munch on it."

"Ahhh! Happy tummy! Messy face!"

Seven-pound Chocolate cake

This Costco chocolate cake is $15.99 and it's GIGANTIC!! That slice that I took out for the picture fed three people! It's FOUR layers of delectable delight, inbetween layers of smooth and scruptious fudgey frosting. The entire outer coating has bits of dark chocolate bark on it. Guess how much it weighs?! SEVEN POUNDS!!

Oh it's heaven in chocolate. As you know about me, I adore chocolate and this is what I imagined heaven to look like.

The only problem is that Ryan WILL NOT touch it (he's not a fan of chocolate--crazy man!) and there's NO WAY I can eat this all by myself....anyone up for cake?

Happy Birthday Blake and Katie!

This date always sticks out in my mind and I think about you two every year! It's just one of those dates that I always remember. You are the first set of twins that I knew in my whole life!

Happy Birthday and I hope that you eat lots of cake and ice cream, get spoiled rotten and have a very, very enjoyable day! You both are wonderful!
