happy may day!

I have always looked forward to May First since I was a little girl! I love flowers and since ours has finally bloomed, it feels like springtime! The crisp air is slowly starting to be filled with the smells of lilacs, new beginnings and happiness. I love springtime in Moscow! As you dance around your may pole today, enjoy the sunshine and be grateful for spring!

little teeth

Carter is such a late-bloomer. He has two bottom teeth, and he's still working on the middle top two! He doesn't officially have four teeth yet! With the other two kids, they had several teeth by the time they were this age. I know you can't compare, but it's still funny to see the difference between them. Cute kid!

His two favorite things: turning off the t.v. and being stark naked! I was changing his clothes and diaper and he zipped off as fast as he could. Just thought that this was cute!

He is standing alone for a few seconds at a time all by himself! Last week when he stood alone for the first time, I startled him when I praised him a little too excitedly! He's walking along the furniture and with help, and standing by himself now! What a big boy!

Listen to what I MEAN and not what I SAY!

"Dawson, please go run and throw this into the sink so I can wash it okay?"

"Okay Momma!"

A few seconds later I hear a CRASH! I go running into the kitchen and sure enough, Dawson did exactly what I asked him to....to THROW it into the sink. What a good helper! At least he obeyed!

Moral: Kids take things literally.
