so vain, probably think this post is about you

It's Meeeeeeeeeeeeee.  I chopped my hair and donated it to Locks of Love! 10 INCHES! Impressed? You should be.  My hair used to grow to my shoulders and then just S-T-O-P.  It got long enough for me to donate 10 inches plus still have some left to funkify.  I love my hair, I'm still learning how to do it, so I'm still playing with it and trying to figure out "the look" and all that.

I also got contacts and I don't have to hide behind glasses! I'm vain just for this post. I'm so totally WASHED out too, I am NOT THIS WHITE! I actually am darker than my shirt and I'm NOT sickly.  Ewwwww, bad lighting! It looks better in person, you all just better pop over to my house and check out my darling hair!
Vanity session over.

gotta love it

I put up this new phrase last week that my sweet friend, Kari, gave me before I left Moscow.  I LOVE it!! It turned out way cuter than I can capture a picture of.  You'll just have to come over to my place and see for yourself! (Thanks KARI!) I love it.  It's stinking adorable, the picture seriously doesn't do it justice. It's in the kitchen above my sink nook.  It rocks. I love Shakespheare, in case you can't read it, it says, "If music be the food of love, play on." Very fitting for a gal with a music degree eh?

I had friends in Moscow that had machines so I could get all the vinyl lettering I wanted and for fairly inexpensive too.  But not here, I don't know a single person in Boise that does it!

I don't want to order it online, it's too expensive and if there's a problem or something it's a pain.  I want the personal touch of a friend! I MISS my vinyl lettering friends!

I wish I wish I wish I could buy a machine and do it all myself...but it's an expensive investment.  Right now I'll just love my completed projects! Sigh.

f, g, and h

Last night, I go to sleep like normal.  I am cozy and warm in my wonderful bed.  Retiring to bed is my FAVORITE part of my day! I gently and peacefully slip into deep slumber and start dreaming.
I immediately go into labor in my dream.  My most recent labor experience was very traumatic and horrific therefore I HATE HATE HATE reliving it. (That's why we call Carter our "Caboose" ....he's our LAST child!)
In my dream, I go into labor.  I then give birth to three babies.  THREE baby girls.  I go on naming each one according to how I see fit.  The first one I called Faith.  The next one I named Gracie.  The last baby girl that I had I named Hope.
I then called Ryan at work to casually tell him that I have just given birth to triplets.  He sounded confused on the phone because I wasn't pregnant when he left for work in the morning.  I got pregnant, went through the pregnancy and labor AND delivery all within a minute or so.  Cuz you can do that in dreams.
Ryan asked me what I had named the babies. I told him
"Oh, F, G, and H."
They always come in three's don't they? P.S. I'm N-O-T baby hungry.  (Shudder)

whew!

Dawson woke up this morning in a panic and yelled, "MOM! WHAT DAY IS IT TODAY??!!!"

I said, "Tuesday."

He said, "WHEW! It's NOT SUNDAY yet!"

go go vandals! oh AND broncos, of course

We got together with the Bodily's and watched the BSU/IDAHO football game on Saturday. It was a BLAST!! The kids ran around throwing the BSU footballs while we parents chatted and ate really good food! The kids all played really well together, I just hope that we didn't wear them out. We sure are grateful for good friends!
As you can see, we are a "MIXED FAMILY" as half of us are in Vandal garb while the other half of our loyalties lie with BSU. We can't make up our mind, I guess!

scary preschool

When I had the Little Learners over at my house a couple weeks ago, our letter of the week was 'G'. I incorporated Halloween by making it fun and scary time! It was so fun, we did 'G' for GHOST and GHOUL. They all came dressed in their costumes. We danced around to The Monster Mash and Purple People Eater. We ate scary finger foods, played Hot Air Balloon (where you can't let the balloon touch the ground and have to keep it in the air) and watched a Halloween cartoon inside our Haunted House! (my living room) We had a fun time!
