I have GG playing on my portable DVD player every single day. I watch and listen while I'm preparing meals, doing dishes, folding laundry, feeding the baby, scrapbooking, etc. Having said that, I want to hear what all my friends that are fans of the show think about the following:

Wow. Your knowledge of the show is intimidating! I think I'd better go back and watch them again before answering any questions. I do know enough to say how disappointing the last episode was. And with my old-fashioned values I wish Loralei and Luke had gotten married, at least engaged. I wish Rory hadn't had a "sleeping around" phase of growing up. I really liked her first boyfriend. What was his name? I wish they hadn't written him to be so unambitious compared to Rory. I thought he was sweet and tender towards her and they would've made a cute married couple in the end. I know not all shows need to end up with the stars getting married but I like it that way. (Excuse me, my old-fashion-ness is showing again!) I admit having a love/hate relationship with Emily. She makes me crazy! How hard would it be to be civil to Loralei? I think they killed off Marian Cunningham (from Happy Days) too soon. I loved that Emily had a mother-in-law like her. Mostly I loved seeing the relationships being mothers and doaughters and helped me see relationships with my mother and daughters differently. Love it. Miss it! I wish the old writers would write another show!!
PS. Ang, I love your new "All About Us" paragraph. So cute! I love your style of writing and you described each of you perfectly!

like Emily, can't think of a favorite episode, luke-of course. can we like any of rory's boys? it didn't really matter in the end anyway, cause she was a career girl! why sacrifice for a relationship anyway! love the show, sick of the worlds take on life i guess!! that leaves my favorite character as....kirk! what a doofus!

I dont think i have a favorite episode..maybe scenes in episodes..The one that pops up into my head is when Logan gave her a coffee cart all day. I know there are many more..i just can't think of them. I know there were many funny moments with michele as well.
2) Which character can you identify the best with and why? my husband says suki, because i am a master kid..and we pop out kids fast. (although my husband doesnt grow weed :))

I would love to offer some input, but sad to say, I have never seen a full episode of Gilmore Girls, although all who have seem to think it is wonderful! I do have to tell you though thank you for making all the kind/fun comments that you do. You have a talent for making people feel good!
Ok, I've waited a bit so I could give you some well thought out answers- but I forgot my brain is fried from having a newborn, so you'll just have to put up with my half-way ideas.
1) Which episode is your favorite and why?
-I don't know if I have a very favorite episode- I love different parts of each one. I love the one where Luke takes Loralei out and shows her the horoscope (I was grinning like an idiot through the whole thing). And I loved it when Rory got to go with the secret society and jump with the umbrella. Along those same lines I loved when Logan and friends came into her classroom and put on a show for the rest of the students. And of course, anything with Kurt in it (naked night-terrors, t-shirt making, comments about his mother- it's all gold).
2) Which character can you identify the best with and why?
-I think that's the beauty of the show, when it started I could identify best with Rory- college, dating, etc. And now I find myself identifying a little more with Loralei, I imagine come 30 years I might be able to see a little of Emily's perspective
3) Do you love Emily or hate her?
-I think she's written to make sure you do both.
4) Which of Rory's boyfriends did you like the best?
-Dean and Logan, Jess had to big of a chip on his shoulder, even if he did have most in common with her
5) Which character is your favorite?
-That is very hard, but I've given enough ambiguous answers, I'll make a firm decision- Loralei, she's witty, beautiful, and an incredibly loving and connected person.
6) What did you think about the FINALE?
-Stinkeroo- I love the mother-daughter theme, but they spent way to much time dwelling on their love-interests to address them so minimally in the finale. I didn't get enough closure.
7) What is your most favorite quote from the show?
- There are way to many to choose from.
8) How did you want it to end?
-I wish they had spent a few episodes tying things up rather than trying to do everything in one, and I would have liked to see a wedding with Luke- not neccesarily the last episode, but somewhere in the last season. I thought the final view of them in the Diner with Luke serving them was perfect though.

-Luke

-I thought it was noticeably different, the whole last season was a little bit of a let-down for me.
I've thought more about the show so I have more to say about it... I loved how unpredictable Kirk was, how unpredictable the dialogue always was with him. I loved how patient Luke was with everyone, even though he made it look like he was gruff. He was patient with Lorelei, with that bossy mayor dude than ended up being his next door business neighbor, and he was especially loving and protective of Rory. I loved that things would happen to Lorelai and she wouldn't take offense. She took things not-personal, found the humor in things...I wish I was more like that!
I just have to tell you...i think it is so funny because everytime I go on your blog and see the first sentence say I listen to GG everyday..my first thought it..she listens to Chris' daughter everyday? That would be annoying! :)
I check your blog every day to see if there are any new pictures of my darling grandbabies... I know you love gilmore girls but I love my grandbabies more so hurry up and post some or someone will be sorry!! Don't make me come back there!
