My most favorite poet is Edward A. Guest. (1881-1959) He writes a wonderful short poem entitled, "Results and Roses." It has helped me and encouraged me when I am attempting something difficult, or challenging myself to strive to live better. It's a mathmatical equasion when you work hard, you will see roses. It's amazing and I wanted to share it!
The man who wants a garden fair,
Or small or very big,
With flowers growing here and there,
Must bend his back and dig.
The things are mighty few on earth
That wishes can attain.
Whate'er we want of any worth
We've got to work to gain.
It matters not what goal you seek
Its secret here reposes:
You've got to dig from week to week
To get Results or Roses.

Good thoughts for today... (I hate that whole you sow what you reap thing. ha) But it's good to work for what you want expecting good results and it's good to be given the skills to be successful.
You are a good mommy. Thanks for taking good care of my grandbabies!
And thanks for sharing the poem.
