This is what we did:
On Friday night, we went to this ADORABLE little jazz joint downtown called "Ella's Supper Club". The atmosphere is amazing, they have such delicious and decadent food. One super cool way that they attract customers is they use the building across the street as a screen and actually project silent black-and-white movies on it! You can watch the movies while you're on the street or you can watch the movies while you're eating their delicious food! It's so cool! They also had a live jazz trio and they were very talented. I sipped my first Shirley Temple and felt like a movie star!

Saturday morning Cassie made some of her scruptious Pumpkin Pancakes and then we headed to one of the malls in Spokane. Afterwhich, we got our hair done!
I had highlights put in while Cassie turned into a red-head. A GOREGOUS one! We ate lunch at this fun chinese restaurant called "P.F. Chang's" and they have really yummy chow mein. The weather was beautiful so we ate in the patio.
Then we headed to Sunny Buns to get a pedicure!
We were thoroughly exhasted, so we headed back to her apartment to rest for a couple hours before the nightly festivities began....I was going to the Spokane Symphony!! Cassie made some yummy Greek Shrimp for dinner. (See?! Isn't her hair beautiful? I love the color!)
I am a fan of hers! Click HERE to her website and go hear her play. She's amazing! Got home, watched "Enchanted" and then fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. What a day! This morning, woke up, got ready for the day and then headed to Cassie's church for the morning service.
After church, we set out to find the Spokane Temple. These are some shots that I captured FROM A MOVING VEHICLE and bumpy road, they're not the best. Spokane has such diverse culture and raw beauty, it's a fun place to visit.
We FINALLY found the temple! We originally had horrible directions that didn't get us anywhere near it, so we found an LDS church building and I ran inside to ask for directions. I got some funny looks as I waltzed into the foyer in my jeans!
I was so surprised when I saw this! I kept expecting Angel Moroni to 'pop' out of the trees like a beacon to help us find it easier. I couldn't get over the size of it, it's just a dainty little building, the size of the Stake Center by it!
We headed back to her apartment, ate some lunch and then I packed up and left for Moscow. On the way home, I snapped these couple pictures of a bridge near Steptoe. I caught these while I was driving, I impressed myself! It's a cool looking bridge, we always look for it when we drive past it.
