blueberries and nursery

I bought 2 pounds of delicious blueberries at WinCo the other night, or at LEAST I SUPPOSE that they were delicious! I put them away in the fridge and when I turned to walk away and finish putting the rest of the groceries away, I hear this soft plip plip plip and slowly opened the fridge door. The blueberries were ALL OVER THE PLACE! The rolled under the fridge, scattered all over the different levels of the fridge, into the lining of the door. Places that I didn't know that blueberries could get into, they did! It doesn't look like it was a mess, but it was! It look me at least 30 minutes to clean them up. Even then, whenever I open the fridge now, I still get a couple scattered on the floor! Dumb blueberries.

This picture doesn't do the mess justice!! They're EVERYWHERE!

Now onto something that is bittersweet for me...we're done with Nursery! We've been in there for a year, and it's time for someone else to have a turn. I'm going to miss it, those kids are so precious and the teachers I served with are such kindred spirits. I don't know if I'll remember how to sit still during Relief Society! I'm so grateful that I was able to serve and get to know and love those sweet little souls!

great combination for a post...blueberries and nursery. I love it! Those berries looked really good, even if they were on the floor!

You are a good soul for being in that busy little nursery for so long. I know you have touched their little lives. :)

Yummy blueberries! Made me hungry for them to see them all over your frdge and floor. How funny that they'd explode like that! Just turn Carter loose in the kitchen for 2 minutes and he'll take care of them all!

I just bought blueberries from Winco today. Hmmm... I better go check and make sure they are still contained. I'll let you know how they tasted!

P.S. I totally stole your idea for "Today I'm Thankful for..." I hope you don't mind. I loved it! And, as you know, imitation is the truest form of flattery

So sorry about the blueberries! How sad you couldn't even blame it on one of your kids.

I'm sure you were fabulous in the nursery.
