I just want to say that I'm a fan! Madeleine Wickam (aka Sophie Kinsella) is an awesome British author, she's got such a fun personality. I listened to the book-on-CD all 6 hours in the car and anywhere else I could listen. Those of you that know me, I DO NOT read! I can't sit still long enough, so when I got into the audiobook, I was hooked. (is that cheating?) The only thing that might bother someone is the language, but it really didn't bother me.
I also finished Bridget Jones! I don't know what's gotten into me, the British humorist-bug has bitten me! I was rolling on the floor at times during these two books. It's a nice escape from the every day routine with laundry and dishes. Anything with Colin Firth is a definite vacation, anytime he reprises a roll that's named Mr. Darcy is sure to have me enthralled!

sometimes I can read, sometimes I listen. you can get so much done while listening to a book! It is also one of our favorite things to do while we travel--harry potter, narnia, the sisters grimm, the kids love them! I will have to try to find those books.
I love British made movies, authors and especially murder mysteries.
I'm so proud of you that you've been bitten by the reading bug...I bet you got bitten while at our apartment over the summer because I was hit very hard with it during the summer. Living three blocks away from the library probably did it to me! :) Now I have more books to read...yeah!!!

Wish there was a way you could send me audio files of books. I've gone through everything but Jesus the Christ that I downloaded this summer.

THanks for sharing that. I have become a hige reader! I read a lot in high school, but after getting going to college and getting married and then kids I haven't read very much until this year. I think I have read like 20+ books in the last five months! haha! Iam glad you can listen to audio, for som reason I can't. I have tried and my mind wonders...hmm but I will have to find that book and read it!
