Ryanna is absolutely thrilled with her new glasses! She insists on wearing them constantly and does a pretty good job at leaving them alone. She spit-shines them when they're "dirty" and always puts them back into her little case. She beams up at you, waiting with bated breath for you to praise her on her spectacles! Not to mention she looks adorable. Not exactly sure where she gets the nearsightedness and astigmatism. I blame her dad.
She keeps saying, "NO WAY!" at things that are far away and "Oooohhhh! I didn't know that's what it looked like!" Because she couldn't see things that clearly...until now!
Carter looked so handsome in his little outfit. He can finally fit into these 18-month-old church clothes that were Dawson's. He's so snazzy!
At the times of these photo shoots, Dawson was catching some Zzzzz's and didn't want to be disrupted. Oh well, next time! And YES, those are pajamas. I can't seem to keep him out of them. Pajamas are what he wears these days. I have to bribe him to go to school in normal clothes!

Hey, cute glasses! I didn't know that she needed glasses...so glad that she can see now. And looks so adorable in them. And loves to wear them! She's a cutie!! I felt really bad a few days ago when the internet decided to quit working while she was reading to Grandad. I kept trying to reconnect and when I finally did, there was no answer. Please explain to her that sometimes that happens on its own. And we will ALWAYS try to call back. Dumb internet connection!
And love love love the pics of Carter Bo Barter. Before you cut his hair, get shots from the side and back too, will you? If you take some outside (I know it's cold but lighting is good) then there won't be the flash shadow on the wall. I hate it when that happens on picture perfect pics! You are sooooo good about taking pictures and posting them. Really makes the miles seem a lot shorter. Love you! Love them!
Now I'm off to take some photos of a family in our branch, some baby shots, and mommy/baby shots. Wish me luck!

Love the new look! What a beautiful girl! And Carter is such a cute little man all dressed in his Sunday best! I think I remember when Dawson wore that too! So cute!

I think things have changed since I was a kid...I hated glasses. But my kids have them and they don't seem to mind. It is good that Ryanna is good with them too. I hope this doesn't sound totally psycho, but Carter reminds me of a little "JOKER" in his outfit and with his beautiful curly hair. Just paint his face and give him a gun and there you go...okay, oops I stretched that a little to far. He is totally handsome though, i was thinking that at church the other day when I saw him.
LOVE the glasses! We have to see them. Natty has kept telling me that Ryanna has purple glasses with no flowers :).
Ryanna told me she was getting glasses when she was at the party! She looks adorable!!
When McKenna 1st got her glasses she came in with this amazed look on her face and said " I never knew there was writing on the milk jug!" The world was all new to her !
Cute glasses. My 4-year-old always wears either pajamas or costumes.
