1) Get up on the high stool thingy with your Hummer and Lolly in hand.
2) Concentrate on eating that Lolly really hard if you get nervous.
3) Whimper a little bit.
4) Show off how long it is.
5) Admire all those curls.
6) Again, devour that Lolly.
7) Whimper just a little more, for dramatic emphasis.
8) Have a little drink of milk if you like.
9) Tell Jessica 'Thank You!' because she's our favorite. (She cuts all of my family's hair)
10) All done! Whew. Did it.
Just for fun after dinner, take more after shots because you can. I'm so handsome!
I'm so proud of Carter! He never once threw a fit and didn't make any noise other than a couple whimpers. He sat still for 40 minutes! He never smiled, and was nervous but after a while, he got comfortable and was just fine! What a sweet boy. I can't stop giggling when I see him. He's no longer a baby. He's a good lookin' kid.

Oh whatever! I'm so caught! I love this blog, and he is so cute. I heard the whole story about the events leading up to this baby's arrival. Tears tears tears. Did you know I never was a crier before I met your Momstang?
Oh and you need to know how much I truly enjoy being at your mom's place with your dad and brother. It is such a delight to watch them all interact. I could laugh and gush all day talking about them. Sometimes I pretend I live there too. It truly is embarassing how unrefined I can be!
He is soooo cute with his new haircut! Kenzie has a full on mullet and I keep putting it in pig tails. We have an appointment on the 29th. I'm a little nervous, but it is sooo needed. Thanks for giving me the motivation that these little people can do it and it's the MOM's that hold them back from being cuter. :)
what did you do? ;) he looks so grown up, now...and very handsome, of course.
What a handsome little boy! I can't believe you cut his hair!! I hope you saved lots of little curls. :)
haha, ok so I just now noticed I had your website on all morning!! I was in the middle of reading it and then Avery started crying, then breakfast, then playtime, then cleaning house, then lunch and naps and well anyway sorry I meant to comment earlier and the day got away from me! He looks darling with his new hair cut! I love it short. I am thinking I might have to cut Avery's soon, too. It's getting long in the back but the front is still 2 cm long of baby fine hair, so pretty soon she will have a mullet!
oh my goodness- he looks so much older. I can't wait to see it in person.
See why I love Suzanne so much? Can't wait for you to meet her!
I knew the day would come when he was too big for his baby curls. A little hard to let go of the 'baby' but so easy to embrace the 'big boy' in him! He's so adorable and amazingly irresisable! Cute post. Thanks for saving me some hair!!
Love you! See you in 10 days!
I have been wondering who would get their hair cute first: Carter or Tucker. I guess I will really have to make the effort to cut Tucker's pretty soon. I have been telling myself that it as okay that his hair is constantly in his eyes and he gets mistaken for a girl all the time because at least you hadn't cut Carter's hair yet. Sad, I know.
Sweet Suzanne? Oh I just love you already!
So tell me this...
Why, during tithing settlement today, was my 4 year old farting?
The kind where he didn't even notice. The kind where it gets awkward b/c we all heard it. Twice. And I'm so embarassed about it that I won't tell a soul, except you, way over there on the other side of the world.
Guess I just had to get it off my chest. And let you know the real me before you get way out here to China.
9 more days, girlfriend!
Yep, he looks like a little boy instead of a baby now. So cute and stylin!
What a cute little guy...I can't wait to play Santa for him this year! I can't believe that he does look like a little kid instead of a baby now. Wow...he looks so much like Ryanna!
