Last night when we were reading scriptures, Ryan read 1 Nephi 12:14: "And the angel said unto me: Behold thy seed, and also the seed of thy brethren."
Noticing that the word 'seed' is laced throughout chapter 12, Ryan stopped a second to explain. He asked Ryanna if she knew what this meant and she shook her head.
He said, "Well, it's children. You guys are MY seed. You know, kinda like my little appleseeds!"
Ryanna nodded in agreement and Ryan started reading again.
Dawson's face was pensive as I think he understood. He looked up at me and said, "Momma, you're my pickle."

I couldn't control my giggles, thus not making scripture reading very reverent at all. I blame my four-year-old.

That's hilarious!
I FINALLY found time to get online today, and now I can't stop looking at your China pictures. Amazing! (but not helping me be very productive:)
Cute. :)
I can't tell you how many times I am fighting laughter during one of my 2-year-olds prayers. You make a good pickle.
Dear Pickle,
I really love your reading chart for the B of M. I totally copied you, hope that's okay! I love hearing about you guys reading the scriptures as a family...even if it's not very reverent! lol!
I received an email tonight from the Asia Women's Conference committee asking me to be one of their speakers this year in Hong Kong. Guess what the topic is? Family Scripture Study! Go, go, Ang! Way to carry on the tradition!
Love you!
haha! pickle!?
Angie,
I found the Centennial Class of 1999 blog and I was excited to find your blog.
I just wanted to say hi! Looks like you are doing good. You've got 3 very darling kiddos.
Take care!
