As crazy as our lives have been in recent weeks, I'm surprised I have any pictures to show from it! We've all been through the nasty flu bugs, pink eye, bronchitis, ear infections and other such joys.
-Ryan has nearly completed his BAR Application! The exam is the end of July. Looking forward to that! He is pulling long days (and even longer NIGHTS) at school. Trial Team competition is this weekend in Seattle and is working hard for his Appellate Clinic duties. He's doing so awesome!
-Ryanna is still loving Chess Club after school on Mondays and recently lost her other front tooth. Now she talks with a lisp, which she reminds me is "cool." She keeps talking about her birthday (which isn't for another month) and has her party all planned out...which I didn't even KNOW she was getting a blowout party.
-Dawson is starting to blossom at school and will actually say more than one or two words a day! He is more confident and we're working on the "Perfectionist" side of him and trying to allow himself more room for mistakes. (Go figure, this is MY kid? A shy one?)
-Carter is a big boy! Last week, he decided that he was finished with his crib. I couldn't keep him in it and fearing that he may hurt himself, switched to a toddler bed. He's doing great with it and actually does pretty well at staying in bed! He absolutely CRIED and sobbed when I took the crib out of his room, he was pretty devestated. But he's got a fun bed to sleep in now!

Oh my word-they are so cute!! I know they are, but then I see them and I think they are even cuter than before. How is that possible?
sounds like things are hopping around there. chess club..is your child a nerd or what??? I totally mean that in a super sweet way btw. just like my eldest..he is in the math club. but he and i have been playing chess as of late, and i really suck. maybe we can join chess club too, it might help. good luck to ryan. Also, i did get your message, crazy day today running every which way, which is why i didn't stop to say howdy ho, neighbor. we are off to spokane tomorrow and won't be to church sunday either...just a weekend with nedley..swoon!! hope you have a great weekend and hope nothing too exciting happens that i just happen to miss...love ya!!

So cute! And fun to get an update on the fam. Can't believe that Ryanna is in chess club, she's probably running the show, knowing her. She looks so cute with those front two teeth missing. I'll have to call her so she can read me a book in her "cool" lispy way right now. That won't last for long! Kids change so fast. Just one look at Dawson and Carter Carter Bo Barter to see that! I love posts like this but also hate them...makes my heart hurt a little more than I want to admit! Miss them SO much! Give them kisses from Grammie. Be sure to say my name to Carter so he'll remember me in a few months when I get home, k? Love you!!
