We had the fabulous opportunity to ride in a helicopter over the weekend. It was a hit with the kids, they STILL are talking about it!Ryan and the kids walking out to the helicopter...

These are the looks on their faces when they got back! They LOVED it!
The loved it! They had SO much fun. Ryanna exclaimed that "cars are lousy" and she loved the helicopter!
Carter was too afraid and too little to go, so we took pictures of him on it, at least!
Afterwards, there were other fun activities to do. We hung around,
watched others go on the helicopter, (Carter was VERY nervous because of the noise it made)
Sat in the shade,
Played shuffleboard,
and cards,
Sat around looking very cool,
Played more cards with friends,
Learned how to play pool,
Pretended like we knew how to play pool, (okay, Ryan does know how, I just tease him)
and played Horseshoes.
After dinner we all went over to the Elk Farm! The kids hadn't ever been so close to them before, it was so neat to see the Elk.
These two little guys were the same age and played so well together. They were everywhere together, playing guns, Star Wars, whatever they wanted. They even had their own language. I didn't understand, but it was so fun to watch!
After all the festivities were over, we headed home. It was a wonderful day and we're very grateful to our gracious hosts for such a lovely day!

HOW FUN! You never mentioned how you got hooked up on going on a helicopter. Details! You guys always seem to be having a lot of fun.
Your kids are SO brave! You couldn't pay me enough money to ride on a helicopter. I guess if I had to be life flighted, I would get on one:) Looks like a fun weekend! Oh ya, I'm on for the twenty year reunion with you!
How fun!! Cars are lame unless you get to drive a 2010 Mazda 6 with only 8 miles on it.

You guys are always doing fun stuff! I can totally see Ryan with his own helicopter in a few years... and you'll have to promise to take us for a ride:)

That is so fun! I'm so glad that you guys get to go on fun adventures together! For all of the noise Carter can make it's funny that the helicopter noise made him a little nervous, funny little guy!
