Can I just brag a little bit? I haven't had a single piece of Halloween candy!
I have been trying to regulate and stabalize my blood sugars and my moods, so I decided that I would try a little experiment and go without sugar!
So far, I've been without sugar since 10/15/09 and haven't had a single piece of CANDY!
The weirdest part? I don't crave it. I don't want it!
It's a very weird feeling for me, because I LOVE the stuff. I haven't hidden it, I have it very accessible and within my reach. I see it several times a day as I'm preparing meals and snacks for the kidlets, but I just breeze right past it.
While I'm at it, I thought that I'd try living without processed bread too. Yup, haven't had any of that since 10/15/09 either! Go ME!

WOW! you go girl!! That is awesome! I have also made a commitment to not have sugar either...and well I did good for awhile but I failed this weekend! I felt horrible afterward, so good for you for not giving in! I am back on my no sugar till Thanksgiving, I hope I make it! I will think of you when I want to give in!
Megan, I'm feeling great! I don't feel as tired and worn down and I don't crave junkfood. Thanks for asking!!
Christy, YOU go girl, too! Thanksgiving is only a couple weeks away. You can do it!
I am impressed Angie! I need that kind of will power:)
We will have Halloween candy around forever...my boys got way too much on Halloween! :)
Wow-you are an inspiration! Way to go! I am sure you feel a lot better.

that is great!
You are so cool! GREAT JOB! I am still suffering from a sugar-induced coma from raiding my kids' candy.
Thats awesome. I really need to do that. My new years resolution was to cut back on sweets...I dont think that has happened yet. I guess I will have to carry that one over to next year.
Got that right...GO YOU! I'm really impressed and inspired by you. Thanks for your example of knowing something is good and sticking to it. It sounds like you have the right mindset...not simply going without but making better choices. I'll say it again... GO YOU!!
