resolute resolutions

I resolve to do the following.  I have very good intentions, and hopefully they'll stick:

-Pray daily (it's so easy to fall out-of-habit)

-Drink 70 oz of water daily (I've been really good at making sure I've been doing this, I need to continue it)

-Turbo Jam or The Firm daily (I have a newfound LOVE for exercise!)

-Make sure I have at least 15 minutes of one-on-one time with EACH child daily

-Stay on top of laundry (yeah, we'll how long THIS lasts)

-Sticking to my program, I have been having success on it and I love it! 46 lbs and 9 inches lost so far...

-Call an old friend or relative every Sunday evening to get back in touch

-Read Scriptures daily (again, so easy to fall out-of-habit! And we got the coolest book for Christmas from Ashley and Donny, thanks again!!!)

I think that as long as I integrate one or two things into my daily habits, in a couple weeks I'll be able to keep all these resolutions long-term.  I've heard it said that if you do something 21 times in a row, it becomes a habit.  Check back with me at the beginning of February and I'll tell you if I have new good habits!

Good luck with all of YOUR resolutions! I want to hear suggestions, comments and what you have done to have success with yours.  Keep me posted!!

Suz, remember how I lost like 12 pounds last year when I did WW?? It was incredibly frustrating and I stopped. I had to jump-start my body into doing something else that actually was faster and worked. I started Take Shape For Life on 10/15/09 and have lost 45 lbs since then. I love it! I can't tell yet, but I'm sure pretty soon I'll be able to. I'm a Coach also, and I'm helping a few others along their weight-loss journey too. It's so FUN!
I have a blog that I keep up:
keepyourskinnyjeans.blogspot.com for my journey and stuffs.

Trina,
THANK YOU!!!

LOVE YOU BOTH, by the way. :)

I volunteer to be that "friend or relative" you call on sunday. And 70 oz of water, are you kidding? That's wonderful that you can drink that much. That's inspiring. We are going to have an extended FHE where your dad will challenge each family to read the Bof M this year. Would be great if, when we have it, you could say you were already well into it. THAT'S inspiring too. Love you!

Wow!! 46lbs. That is so hard to do. Keep smiling that helps. I like the goal of spending one on one time with your kids every day. I think I will add that to my list of things to improve on.
