and all that jazz!

For the last week, we've spent hours at rehearsals, running here and there and participating with a Mini-Broadway production with some ward/stake friends. It was quite a show! The kids did such a great job, they worked so hard. I was involved with music and loved every minute of it. But after a stressfull week, it's over! The kids aren't feeling too well in these pictures, so that's why they look a little sicky. I was playing the piano for Ryanna's song, "Spoonful of Sugar" from Mary Poppins; so I didn't get any pictures of her. They all had spoons in their hands, baker's hats on their heads and aprons on. It was so cute, I wish I could have watched it and gotten pictures.

My sweet friend, Karen, took care of Carter most of the time. Carter loves cuddling with her, and he loves taking naps on her shoulder!
Dawson wasn't even going to sing with his preschool class, so that's why he's NOT a green frog. He's a maroon-colored frog! At the last minute he decided he was going to be well enough to sing.

Most of the boys were more interested in the shadows behind them to sing to the audience. It was so funny!

Ryanna was allergic to the bales of hay, so she sat on the floor. She was absolutely PUT-OUT that the spotlight was in her eyes. She kept glaring at it when it wasn't shining in her eyes. I've never seen such hostility! So hilarious.

Oh yeah, had to include these pictures of Carter's favorite hobby: to CLIMB anything taller than he is. Imagine my surprise when I walked around the corner after helping Dawson and finding my baby up on the kitchen table with no one around! Little stinker!

Way to go, super mom! That looks like a big deal--but lots of fun. And I'll bet I can guess whose little stars stole the show...!
