JUST yesterday I played the roles of:
-Nurse (took kids to doctor for double ear infections)
-Wife (I love it!)
-Chef (a solid 5 meals a day!)
-Chauffeur (running to various activities: preschool, etc.)
-Cleaning Lady (dishes, dining room, kitchen, Ryanna's room, the boys room and my bathroom)
-Launderess (washing, drying, folding and putting away 5 loads of clothes)
-Play date participant (old high school friends rock, don't they?)-Exercise Expert (okay, maybe NOT expert, but I certainly love it)
-Homework Helper (Ryanna's homework and various other such fun things)
-Parent Conference Member (with Ryanna's teacher at school, talking about her behaivor...)
-Friend (spoke with a couple really special people)
-Sister (touched base with both of them...or at least I tried!)
-Daughter (visited my Mom for a few minutes)
-Piano instructor (taught lessons and I NEED more students!)
NO WONDER I slept so well last night...but this isn't a day out of the ordinary. All of we Moms are AMAZING!
Give yourself a pat on the back today, because I admire and look up to every single one of you. WE ROCK!

Yes, we do! And I am glad you mentioned this today, as I was on the phone with a therapist that is going to come and work with Emily. And she asked me if my schedule was busy and I told her no, not too bad. I am just a stay at home mom. And she said to me "JUST"?? She told me she hates it when women say JUST. WOW. I was quite taken aback, but in a good way. I totally know what she means. I hate it too, and when I said it I didn't mean it like that. Because I love doing things as you described for my family but hearing that again today really makes you think about how you say it and mean it. ANyway sorry for the novel. You Rock Angela!
Yeah, the hardest job in the world but the one with the best benefits, the most awesome 'co-workers' and the most rewarding... in the long run. We DO rock. Hang in there, supermom!
I totally admire you, Ang! Love you!
I LOVE your post!! It's sooooo true!! There aren't many days we don't play at least 10 different roles. Sometimes it is overwhelming, but for the most part I am thankful for all of my jobs!!! You're awesome and I miss you!!!
Yes old high school friends DO rock! I had such a blast and Carter is BEYOND cute.
Wow, 5 loads! I don't think I've ever managed so many in one day...although I might if I could quit forgetting about it. That in and of itself makes it an impressive day if you ask me.
I am jealous of play group. Just so ya know. My favorite job is at the end of the day playing movie critic complete with treats while the little ones are sleeping ;)
